A nonprofit halfway house where faith meets second chances. Structured living, spiritual foundation, lasting transformation for men and women rebuilding their lives.
Too many people leave treatment programs with nowhere to go. No stable housing. No support system. No community rooted in faith to hold them steady during the hardest months of rebuilding.
From Rags to Riches from Recovery is changing that in Baton Rouge. We're building faith-based halfway houses that combine structured sober living with spiritual growth, accountability, and genuine community. Starting with a men's residence, then expanding to serve women.
This isn't just a roof over someone's head. It's a bridge between where they've been and who they're becoming.
Daily prayer, Bible study, and discipleship woven into everyday life. Not as obligation, but as the bedrock of genuine transformation and lasting hope.
Clear house rules, accountability, drug testing, and daily routines that build the discipline needed to sustain recovery outside these walls.
Church partnerships, peer mentoring, and fellowship with others walking the same road. Recovery was never meant to happen alone.
Job readiness, financial literacy, and independent living skills. Because the goal isn't just sobriety. It's a life worth staying sober for.
Phase one opens a men's halfway house in Baton Rouge, providing 8-12 residents with faith-centered recovery housing. Phase two expands to a women's residence, filling one of the most urgent gaps in Louisiana's recovery infrastructure. Every resident enters with nothing to lose and everything to gain.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
